Installing Core Samples

When you first open and activate CUBE, you'll be prompted to install the core samples required to run the plugin. If you are having issues installing the samples we recommend trying the following:

  1. Make sure you have a stable internet connection
  2. Open the standalone version of CUBE and installing the core samples there. You can find the standalone version here:
    • Mac: /Applications/Lunacy Audio
    • Windows: C:\Program Files\Lunacy Audio\CUBE

If you are still having trouble installing the core samples, please contact our support team and we will send you a manual sample installer.

Are you running Cubase 12 on Windows?

There is a known issue with Steinberg's Cubase 12 WebView component, so you'll need to follow these steps in order to use CUBE's Pack Portal.

  1. Locate the following component C:\Program Files\Steinberg\Cubase 12\Components\WebView2Loader.dll
  2. Rename the component to _WebView2Loader.dll and restart Cubase 12.
