In this case, CUBE is trying to write a valid license to the your settings folder, but does not have Write permissions. You'll want update the permissions for your settings folder to allow this.
Mac
- Open a Finder window
- In the top menu, select "Go" and then "Go To Folder"
- Enter
~/Library/Application Support/Lunacy Audio
- Select the CUBE folder and in the top menu select "File" and then "Get Info"
- Change the Sharing & Permissions for this folder to "Read & Write" for everyone.
Windows
- Open a File Explorer window
- Go to
{USER}\AppData\Roaming\Lunacy Audio\CUBE
- Select the CUBE folder, right-click and select "Properties"
- Under the "Security" tab, set all users to "Full Control"
